Common trouble codes:
- 0061 – Function restricted due to implausible message

The multifunctional DPC camera developed by Bosch, a camera (1024×512 pixels) including the control unit for the camera (J852), is necessary for many comfort and safety systems.
Among other things, for:
- Lane departure warning and lane keeping assistance (Lane Assist & Side Assist)
- Intelligent high beam control (Dynamic Light Assist)
- Traffic sign recognition
- Driver alert system (MKE)
As well as object detection and verification to support and improve radar-based functions such as:
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Predictive emergency braking system (e.g. city emergency braking function)
- Forward Collision Warning
If these functions fail in the vehicle, the cause is often the DPC colour camera.
The error code C110702 – video line for image processing signal error, which is stored in the J851 image processing control unit, is an indication of this.
If the vehicle is also equipped with automatic distance control (ACC), the image processing control unit (J851) is also installed, which receives the image information from the camera control unit (J852) via a fast LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signalling) line.
In this case:
Before sending in the camera, please check the LVDS video cable that connects the camera to the image processing control unit. If this is OK, the camera can be repaired in our workshop.
After testing and repair, the system must be recalibrated after installation in the vehicle.
