How to ship your ecu
Packaging
Clean the unit with a dry cloth.
Please fix coil bodies and other loose parts in best case with tape on a cardboard plate. Brake fluids might leak from valve blocks, wrap the valve block in cloth and wrap it separately sealed (foil bag) so that the liquid cannot damage your ecu. The valve block should be additionally fixed due to it’s weight.
The packed unit should have at least 8cm play in all directions. Use Styrofoam, bubble wrap, bubble bags or crumpled newspaper as padding fill.
Do not forget to pack the documents.
Avoid using warning stickers as e.g. fragile, handle with care – parcels are machine processed. Remove former shipping labels from the box to avoid misreading by machine readers.
We are not liable for damages during shipping to us. Take care to pack safe and secure. Even minor damages can be fatal for your ecu.
Documents to be attached:
- car registration or homologisation documents
