Valve for exhaust gas recirculation (N18) - malfunction

Fault code can be cleared, but is stored once again immediately, no actuator check is possible for this valve.

Engine doesn't start, there is no communication between the ecu and the diagnostic tool

Engine switches off while driving, does not start anymore. There is no communication between the ECU and the diagnostics device.

Important repair hints (!)
There are very often problems with power supply of the units. We always recommend to check:
- 12 V power supply
- grounding points
- main relay
Note! Unfortunately, faults concerning the camshaft sensor or crankshaft sensor cannot be checked for the moment being!
